Yes! Not only is this the right solution, but the producers found a way to recycle animation that already exists. State of the art animation was used in the animated video Mortal Kombat, The Journey Begins, and guess what? Yes, there just happens to be a very similar fight and flip sequence involving Goro. A few minor modifications, such as changing the human character's clothes to resemble Johnny's refining skin color and texture, adding the character's shadows to the scene, and presto - a technologically advanced animation scene!
